Ladheya ra Bachhiya by Krishna Raj Sarbahari

To drink the water from the Pasaha river, to bathe in it or even cross it, one must sing praises of Ladeha, the fox. But to our young calf, Bachhiya, this is nonsense. Will she sing his praises?

In Bara Jilla Tharu language, “ladheya” means fox and “bachhiya” means a young cow or a calf. This story is based on a folklore told to children in Bara district.
